광주인권평화재단은 2010년 5·18광주민중항쟁 30주년을 맞이하여, 5·18 정신을 계승하고 광주의 고통을 극복하기 위해 노력해 준 많은 사람들의 은혜에 보답하며, 지구촌의 민주·인권·정의·평화 증진에 기여하고자 천주교광주대교구가 설립한 재단법인 입니다.
